Results can also be provided with the assistance of a Medical Review Officer (MRO) for the additional protection of the employee and employer. The MRO is always a licensed physician with specialized knowledge in substance abuse disorders and the toxicology and pharmacology of illegal drugs. The MRO will review the test results and evaluate them using their professional judgment.
